The Cause

The Special Operations Warrior Foundation (SOWF) provides college scholarship grants, based on need, along with financial aid and educational counseling to the children of Special Operations personnel that have been killed in operational missions or training accidents. Please visit their site for more information www.specialops.org

The Ride

A beautiful ride that touches four states; Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland and Pennsylvania. We will be going through sacred ground and if the number of bikes exceeds a manageable number for one group, we will breakdown into smaller groups for the final 15 miles of the trip. If you would like to volunteer to assist in making this ride successful please contact(gjbrown@bww.com). For complete ride details click link below or select Event Link page on left .

The Donation

$30 per person gets you the official ride shirt (multi-color Special Operations Logo) and one complimentary raffle ticket. We would encourage you to purchase MANY raffle tickets or provide donations as you see fit. Last year everyone won something and others went the extra mile to throw their win back in to raise more money for the cause. This year, several larger corporations are assisting...click here to make a  lnsert donation link!

Hope to see you there and we look forward to riding with you! Keep the shiny side up and the rubber on the road...See you there!

"Zman"

Great cause, great ride - I made the first four, and they were fantastic!!!  Ride starts in Leesburg, ends in Gettysburg, route goes through a number of Civil War battlefields, police escorts for majority of the ride.  Ends with a complimentary catered meal, and TONS of raffle prizes.  Organizer is Neal "Z-man" Zimmerman, LTC(Ret), a former Spec Ops, Joint Staff J-5-er and Officer of the Secretrary of Defense CT guy that a many of us remember from his time here.  This is honestly one of the best rides of the year, and it benefits a cause we can all relate to. - Pentagon Biker Update
